The PDF 8000 is a high performance barcode scanner aimed
at professional users in the Office, Retail, Libraries, Health Care, Light Industrial
and similar environments. The scanner is a well designed quality instrument. It is

With the PDF 8000 your organisation is ready to scan the
new high capacity PDF417 barcodes the moment they are introduced into the work place.
The scanner reads these new barcodes in virtually the same way as your existing
barcodes. The new technology can be introduced incrementally. Old and new barcodes
can be read side by side
without any changes to your hardware, applications software and current working methods.

Despatch testing and Default Configuration
Each PDF 8000 series scanner is tested before despatch and
if you have special requirements we will program them for you at no additional cost.
If you are already an existing customer we would usually set this scanner
to match your previous requirements unless you tell us not to. If you do not
specify a configuration we set the scanner work the way most users prefer.
If this does not work for you contact our support desk and we promise to
stay engaged with your problem until it is resolved.

| The scanner is available with a choice of Keyboard Wedge or USB interfaces. Both work exactly as a true KeyWedge interface.
