ScanPlus 1800

The ScanPlus model 1800 range of hand-held barcode scanners uses the latest patented technology and integrated design for fast and accurate contact and non-contact scanning.

The ScanPlus 1800 incorporates innovative solutions for:

1) Different depths-of-field.
2) Easy connectivity.
3) Changing setup requirements.
4) Selecting linear (1D) and stacked (2D) bar codes, including PDF417.

ScanPlus model 1800 scanners can be specified with one of two scan engines:

1) CCD linear scan engine for close reading applications (10 cm/0 - 4").
2)Laser scan engine for applications requiring a longer depth of field (to 50 cm/20").

The CCD engine features a sharp brightly illuminated scan line for accurate positioning of the scanner. The fast scan rate (up to 400 scans per second) ensures high performance, snappy scanning. The laser engine provides an excellent depth of field for applications requiring longer range scanning.

The highly ergonomic shape of the ScanPlus 1800 provides comfortable, reliable and easy to use scanning all day long. A universal interface allows each ScanPlus model configuration to connect to hundreds of PCs, cash registers or other terminals simply by changing the cable and software set-up. Easy and powerful, the ScanPlus 1800 is a new generation in hand-held scanning comfort and performance.
